HON:Forsaken Archer and Dwarven Technician

Two new heroes has been added in the game:

Forsaken Archer is a cold hearted ranged hero, who has spells similar to Medusa and Wind-runner from DotA.

FORSAKEN ARCHER

Once a woodland huntress who captured the hearts of countless men, the Forsaken Archer was taken against her will and slain by a spurned suitor. As she lay dying she forged a terrible pact with the daemons who discovered her broken body. Now, rather than hearts it is souls she captures, wielding them as weapons. Atop the skeletal remains of a beast she once hunted, the forsaken archer rains terror upon any who stand in her path.

Level 3 : Splits attack into 4 seperate attacks, each dealing 65% damage.

Call of the Damned:
With the cursed powers bestowed on her by the Hellbourne,

the Forsaken Archer is able to bring the soulless bodies of her
victims back from the dead to fight by her side as skeletal warriors.

Level 1 : Skeletal Minions have 60 max health, deals 14-20 physical damage and burns 2 mana per hit.
Level 2 : Skeletal Minions have 90 max health, deals 20-26 physical damage and burns 4 mana per hit.
Level 3 : Skeletal Minions have 120 max health, deals 26-32 physical damage and burns 6 mana per hit.
Level 4 : Skeletal Minions have 150 max health, deals32-38 physical damage and burns 8 mana per hit.

Piercing Arrows: Fueled by the rage in her heart, the Forsaken Archer fires Piercing Arrows
that fly straight through her target, striking any other enemies in its path
behind them before it finally dissipates.
Level 1 : Shoots a Piercing Arrow every 0.5 seconds that travels 920, and damages any enemies it goes through for 75 Magic damage per arrow.
Level 2 : Shoots a Piercing Arrow every 0.5 seconds that travels 920, and damages any enemies it goes through for 115 Magic damage per arrow.

The Steam Turret, built piece by piece, is bonded to the Engineer himself.

He is able to control it from anywhere and it gains any items the Engineer
has when it’s created, yet dies if he does.

Level 1 : Turret deals 30-38 Physical damage every half a second in 500 range and has 20 mana.
Level 2 : Turret deals 45-58 Physical damage every half a second in 550 range and has 20 mana.
Level 3 : Turret deals 59-72 Physical damage every half a second in 600 range and has 20 mana.
Level 4 : Turret deals 69-82 Physical damage every half a second in 650 range and has 20 mana.

Cooldown 30 seconds
Turret attacks cost 1 mana each, it will stop firing when it runs out of mana.
If Engineer dies so does the turret.

Level 2 : Any enemy who enters the field is damaged for 100, looses 5% of their health in Magic damage per second, purged, and has Energy Field applied to them for 2 seconds. Lasts 9 seconds.
Level 3 : Any enemy who enters the field is damaged for 100, looses 7% of their health in Magic damage per second, purged, and has Energy Field applied to them for 2 seconds. Lasts 12 seconds.

Patch 0.1.59.1 Released

Two new Heroes were implemented today and this new patch involves balance of these new heroes and nerf.

- Fixed deflection not doing anything
- Non-hero units can no longer pick up runes

Engineer
- Turret no longer procs the death effect of Sacrificial Stone
- Turret can no longer attack Kongor or Runes
- You can no longer sell items off the Turret
- Items that you have in your inventory that are not owned by you will no longer be copied to the Turret
- Fixed misc tooltip errors

Forsaken Archer
- Crippling Volley will no longer hit Magic Immune units
- Skeletal Minions now only spawn from organic unit deaths
* This is to stop silly times where you get a skeleton for killing a tower or catapault
- Skeletal Minions can no longer attack chests or runes
* This is to stop situations like killing items when you mean to pick them up
- Fixed Split Fire, reducing damage properly on the main target and making it properly shoot 4 arrows, not 5
- Split Fire will no longer grant Mana Battery charges when toggled on or off

hurdles

Life can be scary.

I mean, it can be really really scary. It can be frightening in a way with which we are most uncomfortable. And then there’s doubt. The doubt seems to seep into the darkest corners of our mind and plant itself. It then goes on to sprout its roots into our cerebellum. It becomes a parasite, leeching on our self-confidence until it grows and ruptures our entire mentality. We become small. We become apprehensive. We come to expect less of ourselves and take whatever miniscule thing is offered just because we think that it’s all we are worth.

That’s where we fail. That’s where we falter. That’s where we stop.

That is when all of our past failures finally catch up to us, grab us by the collars, and spew vulgarity in our faces. We face these demons and sometimes become devastatingly afraid. We want to run, to hide, and to leave it all behinds us. We change the locks; we re-locate, cut our hair, invest in a better wardrobe, and do whatever it takes to no longer become recognized. We hide.

For what it’s worth allow me to reassure you that your demons will find you. They know who you are, and regardless of your changes your scent will always lead them back to you. The scent? It’s the putrid odor of fear and avoidance.

Here’s the lesson: do not run away. Do not take the easy way out just because it rescues you from a moment of brief difficulty. The easy way always ends up being the long way, anyway. You get lost and the miles multiply. If you make it back to the road in which you should be on, it might be too late.

You might be out of time.

Or out of gas.

Several items have been changed including enhanced marchers , now ghost marchers, and steam boots. Some minor hero changes have been made also, scout has been nerfed slighty to our joy and Dark Lady has been buffed.

Patch 0.1.58 Released

Finally! The much awaited 2 new heroes:Engineer and Forsaken Archer, which are both agility heroes. Sand Wraith and Corrupted Disciple got their voices, and there are some nice interface updates and two new chat commands.

Employment Crossing

Everyday people venture the outsides of their homes for many reasons. To those who are lucky, they leave home to proceed to their work and earn their daily wages. On the other hand those who are lease fortunate need to undergo the dilemma of looking for opportunities for them to gain their daily income. This task is one of the most common tasks that people usually undergo and almost everyone are not exempted, well except maybe for those few who were born with no monetary issues. As i was saying, job hunts is definitely not enjoyable and I assure you something you wish you wouldn't often do. Before it was quite easy to look for jobs but, nowadays with our current population growing every second and new young upstarts emerging from one end to another the job employment business has been vicious and tough. On the brighter side of the story though companies are starting to acknowledge this problem and are starting to make efforts to aid the people if not resolve the issue, at least minimize the people experiencing the said dilemma. Thanks to companies like EmploymentCrossing Reviews and other more companies they offer us the chance to look for our desired occupations and works that suite our profession. Employment is not a new issue to us all, and it is something we must deal with, and it is a subject even our sons and grand daughters are not exempted of, but thanks to companies like EmplotementCrossing Reviews they give us a brighter future.

S2games released another update forHON but I am sure HON fanatic out there are a bit upset for the delay of the 2 new talk about heroes. Good news is this patch fixes the issue of the Behemoth being broken. It also includes some hero balance tweaks, one more boots change and a new item, Plated Greaves.

- Requires Marchers, a Shield of the Five, and 200 gold recipe cost. 1503 total.

- When used, gives +2 armor and 100% chance to block 10 attack damage to all allied units in a 450 radius for 30 seconds. 25 second cooldown. 25 mana to use.

Enhanced Marchers:
- Renamed to Ghost Marchers
- Ghost Marchers offer +24 damage, +70 movement speed, and when activated boost your movement speed by 10% for 6 seconds
* Ghost Marchers have a 12 second cool down and also apply unit walking while active
* Ghost Marchers once again dispel their active state upon ability usage
- Recipe changed to require Marchers and two Punchdaggers (total cost unchanged)

Steamboots:
- Steamboots now give +10 to a selected attribute and no longer provide a bonus to other attributes other than the selected one
- Steamboots now give +25 attack speed
- Steamboots movement speed lowered to 60 (from 75)
- Recipe changed to require Marchers, Gloves of the Swift, and one of the $450 attribute items (Bolstering Armband, Fleetfeet, or Apprentice's Robe)

Heroes

Behemoth
- Fixed Fissure to properly stun and do damage again
- Fixed an issue causing the AoE stun from Heavyweight to occur at the location of Fissure's target

Demented Shaman
- The little guy learned to talk

Scout:
- Vanish now has an upkeep mana cost of 2/3/4/5 per second, changed from 3 at all levels
- Electric Eyes can no longer be placed within a 75 radius of trees
* This is to prevent abusive placement resulting in a block of neutral spawns
- Disarm now lasts 1 second, from 2

Soulstealer
- Fixed Demon Hand's tooltip to be 150 instead of 100
* Demon Hand was doing the correct amount of damage, the tooltip was simply incorrect

The Dark Lady:
- Dark Blades cool down reduced by 4 seconds at all levels (from 26/22/18/14 to 22/18/14/10)
- Charging Strikes' attack speed buff now lasts 6 seconds, increased from 5
- Cover of Darkness now costs 75 mana at all levels (from 50/100/150)

Wild Soul
- Fixed Rabid with Synergy tooltip when it is level 4

Witch Slayer
- Can now speak
- Silver Bullet can no longer be avoided by going invisible as the projectile is in midair

HON 2 new heroes



Heroes of Newerth is about to release 2 new heroes and it is rumored to be Goblin techies and Bone Clinx of DoTA. As for their skills and abilities it is still unknown. So far what we only know is they would definately add more excitement and thrill for the game... S2games will definately release a new patch tomorrow. To all HON fanatics out there stay tune for more update.

New Moon Premier

I think everyone is a hell excited for the premier of New Moon tomorrow night. I ain't excited to watch that movie but i'll be watching New Moon tomorrow with my friends to celebrate Ganessa's Birthday. I have completed all twilight saga's and i love reading the books. . They are just really good books. One thing i hate about watching the movie? is the fact that Kristen Stewart's acting ability. Sorry Pro K-Stew out there, she's pretty but a very lame actress. ;)

Kristen Stewart can't seem to catch a break. Yes she's beautiful, yes she plays Bella Swan in the outrageously popular Twilight film series, and yes she may (or not) be dating her co-star, the swoon-worthy Robert Pattinson — so why, with all these seemingly positives going on, does she seem so dour? The answer may be something as simple as: she just doesn't care about being famous. Don't tell that to the legion of Twilight fans who flock to the movies to see her and her equally popular co-stars, the aforementioned Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. To those fans, she is ruining their mental fantasy of how the Twilight character from their beloved Stephanie Meyer series should behave. It's ok to brood, act sullen and dark on screen, but off screen fans expect something different.
K-Stew, as she is sometimes affectionately (or not) referred to has never had a reputation for giving good interviews. She often seems distracted, irritated or downright angry during interviews. With the second film, The Twilight Saga: New Moon coming out this Friday, Stewart has brand new opportunities to make fans angry.

The New York Times ran an interview with Kristen this past weekend, and unlike so much of the tabloid stories, I felt this piece captured the true essence of why Stewart might come across negatively. This young woman didn't seek fame, it found her and while she has certainly chosen to pursue a career in acting, she doesn't want her job to define who she is. Stewart also doesn't want to give away every aspect of her life to the media machine, which she knows has swallowed girls just like her whole.

If fans of the Twilight series could walk in Kristen's shoes and get a glimpse of the pandemonium of her life as Bella, they might understand where her self-preservation instincts come from. However, teen girls aren't always known for showing mercy, especially towards someone as seemingly blessed as Stewart (who may or may not be canoodling with the object of their desire.)

I watched the Today show interview and felt she came across nicely, albeit worn out and suffering from a cold. None of the anguished tweets expressed above seemed reasonable, and compared to her Hollywood peers, I'd say Kristen sets a good example for her young fan base by keeping a part of herself private and respecting her own individuality.

Now, about that whole smoking thing...

Left 4 Dead 2 has been officially released

After the success of the first part of Left 4 Dead Valve has finally released "Left 4 Dead 2" though it is currently set to launch on November 17, 2009. There are some leakage and it is now available on the net .There are a whole new set of characters namely Nick "The Gambler", Rochelle "The Producer", Coach " Coach" and Ellis " the Mechanics".

THE SURVIVORS


NICK
A lifetime of drifting from city to city, finding back-alley card games and trying to stay out of jail has taught Nick two valuable lessons: Don’t trust anyone, and look out for number one.

He’d come down to Savannah looking for some gullible fish on the riverboat gambling cruise circuit. Instead he found a city about to be engulfed by infection. Now he finds himself forced together with three complete strangers in a fragile alliance that goes against every instinct he lives by. But he’s going to have to learn to trust them if he wants to survive


ROCHELLE
As a low-level associate producer for a big-name news station, Rochelle's job mostly consisted of lugging cables and fetching coffee. But when the outbreak hit and staff started calling in sick, Rochelle got her break: producing a segment from Savannah about the evacuation center located there. She was still setting up the cameras when her big story became a war zone.

But that doesn't mean she's letting go of her dream job yet. Surviving a zombie apocalypse is just something else she can use her wits and drive to produce the hell out of.


COACH

Coach has a big heart, a healthy appetite, and a wicked swing with a chainsaw. After a knee injury ended his career as a defensive lineman in college, Coach salvaged his Physical Education degree (barely) and landed a job teaching health at the local high school in his hometown of Savannah.

Working as a defensive coordinator for the freshmen team might not have been the best path to a pro coaching career; but it’s come in pretty handy in guiding a group of Survivors to safety. Coach has watched his beloved hometown get ravaged by infected—now it’s time to deliver his own brand of Southern hospitality

ELLIS
Ellis is a mechanic with a love of life, a firm belief in his own immortality, and the ability to treat any setback as a fun dare to impress his friends. Born and raised in Savannah, Ellis divvies up his time working at the local garage, hanging out with his buddies, and dropping by for Sunday dinners with Mom—why’d anybody want to live anywhere else?

Then the zombies had to go and spoil it. Now Ellis is looking for new things to occupy his time, and finding plenty. It turns out the zombie apocalypse is one big dare, and there’s no shortage of crazy stuff he can try to impress his new buddies

What life is till 2012

I just watch 2012 *movie* yesterday (November 13,2009), I'm no fan of disaster flicks or Sci Fi kind of movie but i got interested on watching "2012" the first time i saw the trailer on the theater. 2012 is based on the premise that on December 21, 2012 the world is going to come to an end. The reason being, that that is the last day on the Mayan calendar. Also, that the planets in our solar system are all supposed to be lined up in perfect symmetry next to each other, an event that happens only once every few million years.
What will it be like? 'm not sure if the end of the world does come on 2012.12.21 as shown in the movie. 'm not sure if it is resulted from the 'neutron theory' as shown in the movie. all i know is, there's possibility to happen someday and it's gonna be terrific. there may be reviews criticizing the plot or the visual effect. but tears ran off for the helpless moments...breathe was taken at the exciting scenes when lives were pushed to the edge...was once again reminded of the stunning natural power and humanity

we never know when the crisis is coming. we are enjoying our lives without the recognition of a death sign dashing towards us. what life it is?!

Again, S2games updated their patch but sorry HON followers who were hoping for a new heroes but this time this patch has no new content, but it fixes some pactket overflow issues, the bottle-illusion exploit and also introduces some hero balance tweaks.

* This also fixes an issue that was allowing hemmorage to be dodged with teleports

- Lava Surge is now able to target a player directly, not just a position on the ground
- Lava Surge can now be used while immobilized

- Flick will no longer flick units that are greater than 500 units away at the time of the flick
* This prevents heroes that blink/teleport from being flicked long distances

Pyromancer
- You can no longer avoid Blazing Strike's damage by teleporting

Sand Wraith
- Dissipation's reflected damage is no longer reflected by barbed armor
- Renamed Dissipation to Dissipate
- Manifest now has a Disjoint call in it

HON Patch 0.1.53(.1) Released

S2 games has released an update again this time it features a new hero called Witch Slayer. The Lion (Demon Witch) counterpart of DoTa.

Life is full of battles and struggles, I bet all of us have our own different stories when it comes to this subject. Some would be stories of defeat some would be of victory and of course last but most common story is the ongoing siege or battle up to this moment. Amongst the many subjects and fields of battle the most common battleground is the field of health. This has been an epic and classic battle for almost everyone. Age isn't an exception for this topic, whether you are young or old everyone isn't new regarding this topic, especially now since our way of living has drastically changed from before. Every now and then a new complication occurs, a new disease or ailment emerges. The sad part is no one is exempted, one moment you could be as healthy as an ox next thing you know you are already dying or suffering from an illness that has been growing inside of you in dormant.

With our situation today the best solution to extend our longevity on this world is to take extra care of our health. Also here is where one of the most commonly used saying but effective one comes along, the saying “ prevention is better than cure”. As an individual it is our responsibility to be aware of our health, be cautious of our environment and most of all the food we intake. We should find ways to add in our daily routines to exercise besides monitoring our food , because we all know that if we want to spend more time with our loved ones here on earth and achieve more in our life then we should create ways and precautions to extend our life span.

As I have mentioned earlier for more information on how to battle this common opponent and for us to be ready for any kind of thing our opponent throws at us it is advisable to seek advise and consult our comrades in this battle for insights and inputs. It is recommended to often read articles and updates for issues regarding health concern as part of prevention. HON released Patch 0.1.51

Sorry for the delay of update, I was out of the cyber world for a couple of days but now i'm back with a latest update for HON. Last week S2 games again released another patch 0.1.51. Along with it is a new hero named Corrupted Disciple also known as Razor in DoTa and this time they got a present for all game casters with their new spectator interface which will make it much easier to cast games.

General (Gameplay)
- A new spectator interface awaits those who like to watch
- Victory or Defeat arcade text and announcer yell now plays when a team concedes
- Can no longer give illusions items
- Shops now have all items hotkeyed
- Several heroes now have enhanced visual effects when they hold a Staff of the Master
* Done so far: Thunderbringer, Magmus, Swiftblade, Moon Queen, Nymphora, Pyromancer, Plague Rider

- Banning draft now has a wait time before and after the banning phase
- A kick vote can now only be called by teammates and must be unanimous to pass (needs 9/10 in a full game)
- Lifetime should now show up for allied gadgets
- Fix the 'popping' of heroes on the minimap when they enter or exit stealth
- Control groups of multiple units tweaked slightly including better sight of which unit is selected
- Using a bound hotkey or clicking the hero portrait now selects the hero even when dead
- Right clicking a friendly unit issues a follow_guard command, attacking enemies near the target unit
- Post Game Stats Screen tweaked slightly
- Remake now disbands the game. No stats are recorded. This is a temp fix to some other remake issues until we resolve them.
* K/D/A column will no longer cut off longer numbers
* Should no longer display 0's when a team concedes
* Can now sort by column by clicking the column name

- Fixed Behemoth's Heart to increase the damage of Agility heroes by 10% instead of 20%
- Barrier Idol's passive effect no longer stays around forever
- Doombringer should now clear ownership when someone holding it dies. For real this time. I'm serious...
- Assassin's Shroud now breaks stealth when a spell finishes casting, not when it starts

Devourer
- Devour's max channel range increased to 400 (from 260)

Maliken:
- Sword throw projectile speed decreased to 700 (from 800)
- Life Essence will no longer heal Maliken when attacking structures
- Possession no longer lowers maliken's attack cool down time (previously it lowered from 1.7 seconds to 1.4)
- Possession mana cost increased to 150 (from 100)

Pandamonium:
- Cannonball no longer deals extra damage in a 400 radius. Instead, only units within stun range (200 radius) are damaged. Total damage dealt remains the same.

Puppetmaster:
- Whiplash's bonus damage is now dealt via a critical strike
* This prevents it from stacking with other critical strike items. Note that you have multiple critical strike sources that proc on the same attack, you will automatically use your most powerful critical strike.

Rampage
- Stampede should no longer randomly drop vision on the charged target
- Horned Strike's push now destroys trees
- Casting Favor of Sol no longer stuns Rampage for a second

Scout:
- Disarm's bonus damage is now dealt via a critical strike
* This prevents it from stacking with other critical strike items. Note that you have multiple critical strike sources that proc on the same attack, you will automatically use your most powerful critical strike.

Swiftblade
- Counterattack can no longer proc of spells

Vindicator
- Sage's Lore is no longer removable by Attack Abilities

Wretched Hag
- Flash of Darkness is now 800,900,1000,1150 range (from 700,850,1000,1150)
- Bat Blast will now apply Haunt's Haunted state when cast. The strength of the Haunted state depends on the level of Haunt.

It's been a while since i last posted something personal here on my precious blog. I am so disappointed with my PR. I made this blog more than a year ago and after 4 months i already had a PR1. Early this year it raises to PR3 but 2 days ago after google updated their system my PR crushed down to 2. I don't want to be cynical about google's way of ranking website and blog site.
